Kersey Grain Elevator Demolition
The Kersey Grain Elevator project involved the demolition of a historic grain handling facility, including the removal of multiple steel grain bins, conveying systems, and associated structural components. A key challenge of the project was working within a heavily industrialized site with decades of accumulated agricultural and petroleum residues in the soils beneath the structures.
Western Wrecking coordinated the safe dismantling of the bins and supporting infrastructure while managing contaminated soils and debris discovered during demolition. Our team was selected for our ability to safely execute complex structural demolition while addressing environmental considerations common to legacy agricultural and rail-served facilities.
