About Us
Built for Complex Work. Grounded in Good People.
Western Wrecking is a Colorado demolition and excavation contractor specializing in complex project sites where conditions are challenging and the margin for error is small. Our team is known for clear thinking, steady execution, and the ability to solve problems without making the work harder than it needs to be.
Our crews work on project sites across Colorado, from the Western Slope to the Eastern Plains.
We Relish the Challenge
Every site is different. Every project has its own constraints. We enjoy solving the hard problems and finding practical, cost-effective solutions when the path forward isn’t obvious.
We Keep It Light
We believe tough work doesn’t have to mean miserable job sites. A little humor and perspective go a long way.
We Succeed Together
We treat our employees, subcontractors, and partners with respect because strong relationships lead to better outcomes.
We Do the Right Thing
We follow the rules, meet regulations, and don’t cut corners. Clients trust us to be honest, transparent, and accountable, especially when challenges arise.
The Team
The People Behind the Work
Western Wrecking is built on the strength of its people. Many of our crew members have been with us from the beginning. We believe good projects are the result of good people working together toward a shared goal.

OUR STORY
Why We Started Western Wrecking
Western Wrecking began in 2013 as Studio 7 North, founded by Alyssa and Judson Kipp. At the time, they were living in an RV with two kids and about $2,000 to their name. What they did have was years of experience in construction and small business.
The company began by helping contractors bid and manage complex projects. As demand grew, equipment was added, crews expanded, and more work was brought in-house to meet the needs of increasingly challenging work.
In 2019, Western Wrecking was introduced, and the company expanded further into demolition and excavation. Today, Western Wrecking is the primary name under which the company does business.
Alyssa and Judson set out to build a stable, honest business that approached difficult work with competence, creativity, and respect. That goal continues to guide how the company operates today.
