DEN Crushing

The DEN Concrete Crushing Project involved the processing and recycling of approximately 400,000 tons of concrete generated from multiple construction and demolition activities at Denver International Airport during 2024 and 2025. Western Wrecking mobilized on-site crushing and screening operations to convert demolished concrete into reusable aggregate for use on airport and regional construction projects. Working within an active airport environment required strict coordination with airport operations, careful traffic management, and adherence to DEN safety and security protocols.

The project significantly reduced material sent to landfill while providing a sustainable source of recycled aggregate for future infrastructure work.
