Summitville Mine Cyanide Destruction Facility Demolition
The Summitville Cyanide Destruction Plant Demolition project involved the dismantling and removal of a complex industrial processing facility that had been used as part of the cyanide destruction program at the Summitville Mine. Located at approximately 11,200 feet above sea level in a remote alpine environment, the project required careful planning to address limited access, severe weather conditions, and high-altitude working conditions.
Western Wrecking safely demolished the specialized industrial structures and processing equipment while coordinating closely with environmental oversight teams responsible for the long-term remediation of the site. Our team was selected for our experience performing technically complex demolition work in remote and environmentally sensitive locations.
